For the past 6 years, I have attended the The Special Event Show, a trade show for event professionals. The show moves to a different major city in the US every year. This year's show was in Long Beach, California. I could meet with several event professionals that works on events such as The Oscars, Emmy's, NFL, celebrity weddings. This gives me the opportunity to see the latest trends and learn from the best and bring touches of these trends to South Carolina. I also attended their Wedding Event designed by the award-winning team of CL22 Productions. The Wedding Event was a mock wedding reception with four design areas dedicated to music masters: Luciano Pavarotti, Stevie Nicks, Beyonce and Keith Urban. See pictures below:

Event professionals say that millennials influence floral trends with more informal designs with more greenery that focus on creating an amazing atmosphere rather than impressing guests with pure volume of flowers.
Another trend is creating a large scale feature such as one large floral scape, with draping, modular panels, large walls with monograms. Another exciting new trend is games for the guest when there is an outside space available.
