What does a Wedding Venue do during the week??

March 4, 2016

WOW what a week!! We had to put up the fresh flowers and fine china and pulled out the classroom style tables, chairs and coffee pots!!

The beginning on the week, we had the honor of celebrating with the Boy Scouts of America.  Their mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.  The Boy Scouts were honoring Representative Garry Smith for his years of and dedication to the Boy Scouts of America. We welcomed Mayor Janice Curtis of Simpsonville and the Mayor Dennis Raines of Mauldin. They met Monday night and enjoyed the delicious food catered by Catering by Bernie & Candie.

We receive a call from a mother and daughter who was driving on 385 and asked Siri to find them a florist in Simpsonville. We met with them to design a custom arrangement to suite their dear Aunt.  We delivered the flowers to  the beautiful and comforting Thomas McAfee Mortuary.

Later in the same week, we went hooked the trailer up and off to Professional Party Rentals we go!! Along with the staff, we loaded 16 classroom style wooden tables. We were locked and loaded to welcome Metro Power at 6:00 AM Friday morning with hot coffee and Chick—Fil-A!!

Along with Police Chief Keith Grounsell and his team of deputy’s, officers and investigators we welcomed Mayor Jancie Curtis of Simpsonville, City Council Woman Jenn Hulehan, City Council Man Ken Cummings, City Council Woman Sylvia Lockaby just to name a few.  We put away the classroom tables and brought out the round tables and topped our with blue linens.  As the program started we turned on our blue event lighting to add the personal touch to the event. The dinner was catered by Catering by Bernie & Candie and the delicious cake was brought in by Gretchen ABS Cakes in Mauldin.

Photograpy of the Masquerade party was provided by Lewers Photography. And this is what happens at Events at Sapphire Creek during a week.
